The solution is simple and you won’t have to worry about deleting registry files, applications that won’t install properly, applications that interfere with each other, which utility is best, and all the rest. There seems to be much confusion over which cleanup utility is best. The other utilities in this program also removed vague and old files that were no longer used and, after rebooting I have found no ill effects from removing everything the program found! I know enough about computers (i build and fix them professionally) to know that most of these registry entries were not just silly things to make it look like the prograsm was doing a great job (as a lot of similar apps usually do), no, the entries were indeed just stuff left over by bad uninstall program routines and, although theier effect on system performance is negligable to zero, or it is at least up for debate anyway, I still like to think the PC is better without loads of entries to files that no longer exist. I ran the registry cleaner from this program though and, surprised or what - it found a whopping two hundred entries. I have always used CCleaner to clean crap from the registry and it is great. Out of ten such utility apps, this one was the 'recommended' choice! I recently read an article in a very well known PC nmagazine which was comparing utilities like this program.
